Route 66: Amarillo, TX

We got donuts and double shots at the gas station before heading out towards Amarillo. Stopped at Taco Bell for lunch and should get to our destination by 7pm.

We took pics with the Route 66 signs and ate dinner at Rudys Barbecue.

Delicious! We think it might even be better than blacks?! Then we went to the mall to try and find a Route 66 sticker after all the stores were closed on 6th st and they didn't have one either. We went across the street to cavenders boot barn to look.

No sticker but they had cute boots!

Then we headed back out on the road. Got into New Mexico and landed in Santa Fae at a Pilot that was really nice. Finally got cooler weather and had a great nights sleep.
