Why does the bride cost more than the attendants?
The bride rate includes the following: A fully customized hair/makeup look tailored to the specific needs and desires of the bride, time spent chatting on the phone, email correspondence, beauty timeline creation, product usage, and a personal touch up kit.
How can I make paying for services easier for me as the bride?
I always suggest talking with your bridal party/family about what everyone is willing to pay for. Most likely they’re already paying for a dress, shoes, hotel and a number of other things that being part of a wedding demand. Sometimes giving them the option of paying for either hair or makeup and you or a family member pays the other can help relieve a little stress on their end.

“Megan provided me some lessons on how use one of my eyeshadow pallets based on my skin tone and colors of outfits that I normally where. She also showed me which brushes to use and how to use them based on what I am doing on the eye. She was very patient with teaching me as she would do one of my eyes and then she would watch me do the other eye. While I was doing one eye she would watch me and provide pointers. Overall she was a great teacher and is also very friendly and easy to get along with.”
